Alex Diaz was successfully in affirming the dismissal of a legal malpractice complaint against a criminal defense attorney that he had previously secured. The plaintiff alleged that the attorney had provided negligent legal services. The court dismissed the plaintiff’s claim on the basis that the plaintiff’s complaint failed to state a cause of action. The Third District Court of Appeal agreed with the trial court and affirmed the dismissal.
